I remember a post here before saying that it was better to just not aim for experiencing luxurious things because you will get used to it and it will be difficult when you go back to not being able to afford them.
I think that’s the most difficult place in life one might find themselves, come from a place of wealth and luxury to a place of nothing, not having what to offer others and worst still, yourself. It’s always a difficult adjustment to make but once you’re there, it’s never up to you no more.
It made me think of whether there is a difference between people who grew up poor and people who grew up rich when it comes to their dreams and aspirations and goals.
I think there is a huge difference between these category of persons. It tells on how they invest and live their lives. While the poor might find it too risky to invest what they’ve got because they are scared of losses, the rich don’t because, there is always more where that came from and they understand that, only through risk taking in certain types of investment can they build wealth.
