I don't think it was Simone Inzaghi's choice, but rather I think it was a choice made by the management. It was the fans who were asking to win the Champions League, and I personally supported this choice by Inzaghi.
If you have forced choices, then you choose the best way! If it goes well you have won something important, if it goes badly at least you have tried.

Real Madrid built an entire strategy around this, in fact they won so many Champions Leagues, what they did makes sense, they were just unlucky because they could have left the scene as a hero.
