With the current situation of RODRI sustaining an injury what would now be of the midfield I mean the defensive midfield of Manchester City? Because as it is everything might be pointing at the same direction as of last season, I don't want to see a weaker Man City next season that can't get a win against a promoted team, this season is suppose to be tougher than last campaign, without Rodri can we see a more different Manchester City than what we saw of them last season?
No, because this isn't a long-term injury like the previous one. I believe Tijjani Reijnders can fill in for Rodri and manage his position, although he's not a perfect replacement. But if Rodri's current injury is similar to his previous one, Manchester City will face even more challenges than last season. Because up till now they still haven't found a suitable replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, particularly in terms of long passes. And to be honest the absence of both Rodri and De Bruyne would be disastrous for the team.
Bruno Fernandez is the only player in this current Manchester team that finished the season that I feel is worth keeping and carrying over to the new season. However, Bruno Fernandes committed to Manchester United, which is why he turned down offers from the Saudi league.
