I think the strategy is just an additional addition to our traditional basic actions for testing. If it is not implemented initially or does not have a positive effect on your winnings then you should gamble in a controlled manner while risking money to win.
Betting with control is always the best, both in terms of money and strategies, it is a fact when we play that what is most needed is luck, I leave the strategies as for poker which is undoubtedly the best way to test your luck + strategy and can give you good results, but in the rest of the games I consider that luck is what you should have the most, sports betting is the exception, they are the only ones that are not made with luck but decisions are made thanks to our wisdom.
I agree with you to some point, anyone who gamble with control will likely not incur much loss or become an addict because this means that the person already understands what gambling is all about ( winning is not certain). But I disagree when you said sport betting is exception when it comes to luck, no betting is exception when it comes to luck because no matter the strategy someone has and no matter the stats been carried out winning is not sure, it has to be a luck maybe you don't believe in... but I do believe this. though strategy and stats will help a gambler stay on track I mean make someone select what may likely be the outcome of a game most atimes.
