Do casinos profit from addiction, or do they truly promote "responsible gaming" as they claim?

As what we have seen, casinos are profiting from gamblers who can't control themselves and play as much money as they can and think that they can bring the house down. But we all know that the longer we play, the higher the chance that we are going to lose anyway.

Probably there are casinos that really have programs like self-exclusion and outright banning of players and promoting 'responsible gaming'.

But you have to ask yourself, If casinos eliminated all problem gamblers, would they still be profitable?
Whether or not people are addicted to casinos, they will still make a profit, provided they have active players. However, it cannot be denied that addicted individuals actually make casinos more profitable, as this has long been an open secret.

Most casinos always provide questions and advice regarding the gambling activities of their customers, and their support sections are filled with tips and advice on responsible gambling. Ultimately, it all comes down to the player themselves—whether they can gamble responsibly or not. That is the gambler's personal decision, not the casino's. The casino's responsibility is to provide advice and education on how to behave responsibly in gambling. This is not always promoted, but it is part of their role.
