I think I saw a thread about this scam last month, and I believe it's the same one, because the amount is quite high  Shocked
It's unbelievable that someone with the equivalent of $6.9 million in crypto made such an easily avoidable mistake, which was to buy a hardwallet from an official source

With a simple search, or a thread here on the forum, this individual would have known that we cannot trust any third-party hardwallet other than the official source

...must know that if they want to buy and use hardware wallets, they must afford to spend money to purchase good hardware wallets from official stores. If they want to save money, purchase used hardware wallets or from unofficial stores, anywhere on Internet, they will not only use money but also lose bitcoins.

Someone with more than $6 million in crypto could easily buy a hardwallet directly from the source, and even if it were difficult in their country or city, it would be cheaper to travel, buy from a secure source, and return  Shocked Shocked Shocked
