Chelsea, on the other hand, has won all of the European trophies, including the first FIFA Club World Cup edition that Real Madrid has not won. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Chelsea is not a team we should write off this season. The majority of people underestimate them. While that team is capable of winning the Champions League this season, even if they are out of the competition for two seasons, their current squad can win it.

Let’s start this conversation with the fact that Chelsea have been the most successful English club in the last two decade is this same Chelsea club, yes overall in entire English football history there are clubs that superior but we cannot actually rule Chelsea out. Over the last two seasons we which they have changed ownership they have been struggling but towards the end of last season Chelsea looked more like a proper team they weren’t winning the matches alone but they were doing it like a top club by controlling the game from start to finish.

When Chelsea got to the club World Cup they were easily rule out by most of us here because we had actually viewed them to carry on with their poor performance but they went their and won it even though we all can argue that they got lucky by opponents they faced I think they were good to get that lucky and they proved that by defeating the PSG team which looked superior last season. So yes Chelsea should be considered favourites too
