They look like exactly how I imagined, funnily enough.
It catches my attention they cover their faces, that is something which I would have expected only from law enforcing agents who deal with cartels and crime organizations, which have the power the hit back specific agents and their families (had they identities revealed during their shifts, as anyone could take a picture of them).
Here in my country, according to law, no law enforcement agent is allowed to cover their faces, because it is perceived to encourage mismanaging of situations by agents and even mistreat suspects and go away with it, unpunished.

I wonder whether this is something new or this was implemented by Trump, so ICE agents can work more efficiently.

The budget for ICE was significantly expanded in the "BIG Beautiful Bill" and reported to have a budget larger than most militaries (while Medicaid got cut). They are hiring people and offering big bonuses.
Laws are  being proposed to require the masks to come off for law enforcement and endless lawsuits are being filed for the violations of our amendments (civil protections and rights). What we are experiencing in real time is what it's like to come up against our own laws and what to do the government isn't following long established laws?

What would you if a dozen masked men without a warrant was taking a person off the street in front of you? Does it matter what that person looks like?
