It can't be that Pep Guardiola hasn't made provision for a replacement of Rodri concerning what his team had to go through from struggling with winning games to losing their first place in the EPL to Liverpool. This new season Rodri absence would be of no consequence as am sure Pep must have tackled that using the transfer window to put his team together.
Rodri has indeed had a significant impact on the midfield, leaving Manchester City struggling to find a better or at least comparable replacement for him. To be honest, i was also quite surprised by Rodri's injury, especially since he had previously suffered an injury that prevented him from playing for his team. Hopefully, Pep Guardiola already has the best options to address this issue. I am confident that with the right tactical preparation and transfers, Manchester City can compete with other strong clubs this season.
