I think Como's goal is higher than just finishing in the top 10. They should be aiming for the conference league. Como is a team that has implemented a project. They're good enough to surprise in Italy, and I'm sure they'll be at their best against any Italian team this year. Their squad is truly strong and can score any score against any team.

Clearly, with their maneuvers in this transfer window, their goal is not just to stay in Serie A, but also to secure a place in one of Europe's major competitions next season.

In preseason friendlies, they performed quite well, winning against LOSC Lille, Ajax Amsterdam, and Real Betis. Although they ultimately lost to Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy, I believe they have prepared well enough to compete in the 2025/26 season. However, before playing in Serie A, Como will first face Sudritol-Alto Adige in the Coppa Italia.

On the one hand, these are fairly ordinary signings, maybe only for teams in the second half of the table it looks cool. But on the other hand, I checked the bookmakers' odds and Como's chances of getting into the top 4 are estimated at 5.50 - on par with Lazio and higher than Bologna and Fiorentina  Shocked I wonder if the bookmakers are in a hurry or if Como have really strengthened so much? I usually trust the bookmakers, let's see how Como will be quoted in Serie A games, and not in the long term.

If Como FC's strength is comparable to that of S.S. Lazio, then the first week of Serie A will be quite an exciting match to discuss, as Como FC and Lazio will meet in the first week. If Como FC's strength is indeed equal to Lazio's, then Fabregas' team should at least secure a draw in this match.
