Weird indeed.
I remember back several years ago similar stuff kept happening with denarium auctions on the forum.
Maybe, just maybe (hopefully) it's a thing that these folks got redirected via X or similar to the forum (by denarium?).

Anyway, that's why I always have a newbie-clause in my auctions. This can look very suspicious and even if it's legit can cast a bad light on the auctioneer for obvious reasons.
