I think Como are getting a lot of attention right now, they had a really good season (especially the end of it), but they only finished 10th and that's not enough to call this season a success. Fabregas is ambitious and they signed Morata, that's a really good transfer but I have my doubts that it's enough for Como to get into the European Cup zone this season. But maybe Fabregas believes that because he turned down some good offers from other clubs.
Como already pulled off a surprise last season, so it's possible they could pull off another one next season.
Fàbregas has made some good progress in slowly building the Como team, and I think this progress will only improve the team over time. I'm quite optimistic about Como next season, whether they reach the European spots or not, but I'm confident they'll be in the running for it.
What they are doing isn't really that shocking, they have always done that and it has always been a normal thing. What we are seeing here is just a "rich club getting better" and that's normal. COMO has more money than most teams in that league, even some of the top names, and they are growing better.
And the reason why they are not suddenly the best, even with money, is because you can't get star players all on the same summer, you can't have 11 amazing guys right away, first you buy a few, and then good players around them, then you get a few more, then you get a few more. So Como will end up getting better, and because they have the money for it, they will be a top four team eventually, and keep being there. I can see even a title win for them eventually.
