I don't think it's that easy for Levy to fire Thomas Frank because he doesn't know what will happen next season. PSG are a tough opponent, and Levy certainly understands that. However, his club being able to score two goals against PSG is still considered a good thing because I know PSG has a strong defense.
Tottenham Hotspur's performance against PSG in the Super Cup was good, and PSG beating Tottenham Hotspur in a penalty shootout to win the Super Cup isn't enough reason for Levy to fire Thomas Frank because you can't use one game to determine the performance of a coach. With the Tottenham Hotspur performance against PSG in the Super Cup last night, Thomas Frank will perform very well at Tottenham Hotspur next season if Tottenham Hotspur can add more players to their squad before the transfer window closes.
Tottenham Hotspur would have avoided that penalty shootout. They were leading 0-2 and held that lead up until the 85'. If they had maintained the same exact concentration they had from the start of the game they would have ended the game in a 1-2 win. Although I was even shocked to see Tottenham put up such performance in the super cup, I will say they tried but they would have done better.
