My guess: someone pays for a spam service, the spammer "delivers", and if the "buyer" doesn't get ROI because the posts get nuked within seconds, the spam wave ends.
Yes, that's highly possible because scam developers often pay for spamming so they can get better result when someone buys their coin/product or install their malicious coded scripts.

Other than span service, there's also chance that some spammers might themselves create multiple accounts or use low rank accounts that are mostly present in hacker logs and utilize such accounts for spamming activity. Of course both have same purpose that's to trap innocent people with greed who often don't understand the cleverly used tricks of such scammers.

There should be a type of agent or bot that may look for all such type of threads, and as soon as it finds such posts, it may report it to admin/moderator or it should have privilege to delete that thread or temp ban the accounts that create such threads.
