As a Madrid fan, I wouldn't overestimate whether Madrid could improve after recruiting several new players and bringing in a top-tier coach. I'm not underestimating Madrid or Alonso, but I simply hope Madrid can pursue more prestigious titles like the Champions League...

I think Real Madrid should focus more on chasing their domestic title first, then they can pursue titles outside of La Liga. Barcelona already won La Liga last season, so now is the time for Real Madrid to win that title again. once they can secure the domestic title, they can focus on chasing titles like the Champions League, etc. because right now the race for the European title is fiercer, and if Real Madrid can't prioritize what they need to get, then last season's results will repeat themselves where they failed to get any title.
I get the point about prioritizing, but I’m not sure that approach really works for Real Madrid.
This is a club with a history and mentality built on competing for ,,every,, trophy, not just focusing on one. La Liga is definitely important, especially after Barcelona’s win last season, but the Champions League has always been part of Madrid’s identity as well.
If they only aim for the domestic title, they risk losing the competitive edge that comes from fighting on multiple fronts. A strong run in both La Liga and the UCL often feeds momentum for the entire season.
In my view, the goal should be to stay competitive in every competition. That way, even if one objective slips away, there’s still a chance to bring home silverware from another front. That’s what keeps Real Madrid’s standard so high.
