This attitude of players is becoming a new trend that clubs now have a say over players making decisions to leave their clubs even when they are under a contract. A similar situation with Alexander Isak with Newcastle United, Viktor Gyökeres situation was totally different, Newcastle has done nothing wrong to Isak and yet he is forcing a move.
I'm not going to justify this attitude of players but clubs also have a way of doing the same thing when they no longer sees a player as part of the squad, first they stop the player from training with the main squad and send the player training with junior team, the rules become tightened and unconducive for the player forcing him to leave the club. Clubs have shown to be the ones not remembering what a player has done for them, in likes of Garnacho and Isak are doing what they think is best for their carrier which isn't selfish.
