In my opinion, with the performance of Dembele for PSG last season and in the Super Cup, Dembele is the frontrunner and the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or Award, but if the Ballon d'Or Award is given to another player, I will not be surprised because it isn't the first time the Ballon d'Or Award has been given to a player that doesn't deserve to win the award.
Dembele has done a lot to deserve a chance at the Ballon d'Or awards actually, even if they were to consider his recent performances inclusive, he has been of so much value to PSG and has achieved a lot within the period with which the Ballon D'or is to be awarded. We have other top contenders who are on that list but if dembele eventually win, I will consider it as very much deserving he has put in the work throughout last season and the season is just starting and he still looks like he is still into it.
