Indeed the current conditions are different where Real Madrid has currently made many improvements, their strength seems to be back in good condition, it can even be said to be much better in the hands of Xabi Alonso but Barcelona also cannot be underestimated even though they have not made many player purchases, their strength in defending the title can still be relied upon, I think the title race will be much more interesting and tight between the two teams.
As a Madrid fan, I wouldn't overestimate whether Madrid could improve after recruiting several new players and bringing in a top-tier coach. I'm not underestimating Madrid or Alonso, but I simply hope Madrid can pursue more prestigious titles like the Champions League. Even if Madrid fails to win La Liga, at least Alonso's team managed to lift the Champions League trophy this season, which is a more valuable trophy. Still, Madrid's improved performance will make them better prepared to compete with Barcelona, and La Liga will become more competitive.
At present, we can only hope that the transition does not have too negative an impact on future performance and that Xabi can replicate the success he achieved in his first season at Leverkusen.

Facing high expectations in his first season is certainly no easy task for anyone, including Xabi, but I am confident he will take his debut season with Madrid very seriously. Especially since we know that Madrid is not always a forgiving place and does not easily accept failure, so Xabi must be aware of the consequences if his performance does not meet expectations.

Currently, there are a few things he needs to focus on, such as team chemistry and injury issues that must always be anticipated. In recent seasons, Madrid has consistently faced injury problems with its players, so Xabi must do his best to minimize this. If this can be managed well, I am quite optimistic that he will be capable of competing, even in his first season.
