In my opinion, with the performance of Dembele for PSG last season and in the Super Cup, Dembele is the frontrunner and the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or Award, but if the Ballon d'Or Award is given to another player, I will not be surprised because it isn't the first time the Ballon d'Or Award has been given to a player that doesn't deserve to win the award.
Yeah the award sometimes have gone to the wrong hands in few years that's why so many people don't regard them as before. I also think Dembele is more deserving this year

There are seasons that certain players perform better than Dembele and still end up not winning the award, and sometimes a player will only perform a bit above average and end up winning the award just because that year there are no exceptional performances.
