It’s back to Status quo in the bundesliga, I just wish other teams can sit up and give Bayern a run for the title, Borussia Dortmund who’s expected to be in that discussion often behave like Arsenal in the Premier League. Bayer Leverkusen who would have also given them a tough time has lost both manager and key players, the only thing that will stop Bayern is just Bayern itself or maybe another team with a one season wonder performance.
The upcoming Bundesliga opener between Bayern and Leipzig will likely go in the favour of Bayern Munchen unless Leipzig decides to take the bull by the horn, they have quite good players.
Other teams could capitalize if Bayern Munich loses control, as they did in the 2023/2024 season. Sometimes the Bundesliga can be boring without a strong title contender. Again, Bayern Munich are a force to be reckoned with, but that's their skill in building a squad, as they have sufficient financial resources to afford quality players.
Dortmund also struggles to compete with Bayern; they sometimes perform well, but they often drop points in crucial matches.
Similarly, Leverkusen, under Erik ten Hag's guidance, we saw their performance against Chelsea. Nothing stood out, especially since Leverkusen recently sold a star player in this transfer window. Of course, their strength won't be as strong as last season. But we need to see Erik's performance in the Bundesliga, as he is known as a stubborn coach, and whether he can bring significant changes to Leverkusen this season.
