For me the amount to risk should be what we can afford to loose because winnings are by luck, the more amount that you use to stake increases your chances of winning more or losing big.
Unfortunately I can't agree with you in this . If you know what you're doing than it's not luck. But if you don't know what you're doing and still gamble that's luck for sure. Even slots player have their own strategy minimize their loses and maximize their profits. The moment you're dealing gambling as pure luck, you ain't learning anything just tossing it aside. My advice is don't gamble blindly.
I gamble only for fun in my free time I never do it every day to make money. Moreover I use very small amounts of money in gambling i.e. $1 to $5 is enough if I gamble to make money then I would probably use more money and gamble all the time. If I count the days then I would say if I win once a day I am happy I would not expect to win more and if I count the weeks then if I win three to four times I am happy I do not need more wins because getting too involved in gambling is a sign of becoming addicted.
You're just washing your money bro, there's no way you can expect to win with just $1-5$ . What you're doing is just putting your money in lottery. Even lottery has it's own rules if you wants to win. We don't gamble with enough fun cause we're gamble freak or addicted to gambling. It's for minimizing your loss , and convert your hands good. If you play 10 hands in slots or live casino it doesn't means you gonna win 7 of them. You should look it like this if you loss 8hands you need to able cover your losses by rest of your 3/4hand whatever you have. But if you loss already 80% of your capital there's no way you gonna win or can cover you loses . For that reason most of people call gambling as pure luck. It's just a misunderstanding nothing much
