Liverpool claimed their English Premier League trophy last season comfortably with Arne Slot in charge as every other teams are just simply falling way too far behind Liverpool on the table without any real chances of catching up. Liverpool will start the first game of this new season at the comfort of their home stadium and I think Bournemouth will be the first team to record a loss in this opening game.
It's true that Bournemouth would open the season with a loss. Seriously I don't see them being much of a challenge to their hosts. I've been opportune d to watch these two in their preseason games and from what I've seen, Bournemouth would suffer for the number of players that they have sold but haven't been able to replace.
We all saw how Liverpool played against Crystal Palace. Even though they lost on penalties, it's enough to tell me that they would want to intimidate their opponents and punish their obvious lack of good players.
Bournemouth didn't do well in the preseason but like I used to say, you can't judge how good a team is just from their performance in the preseason so they could lose a bit of a threat to their hosts if they can cover where they are lacking. It's okay to say that usually, curtain openers are often interesting and I'm hoping that tonight's own between Liverpool vs Bournemouth doesn't disappoint.
