This attitude of players is becoming a new trend that clubs now have a say over players making decisions to leave their clubs even when they are under a contract. A similar situation with Alexander Isak with Newcastle United, Viktor Gyökeres situation was totally different, Newcastle has done nothing wrong to Isak and yet he is forcing a move.
Maybe if Liverpool make public that they have no desire to sign Isak will force him to want to have a change of heart concerning not wanting to play for Newcastle anymore. Liverpool are still keeping that window open, this is why the player is trying to force the hand of Newcastle's management to let him go. Liverpool are the top contenders to get him and looks like the only destination he has in mind, so if they shut the door to new players, he would have no other option than to remain in Newcastle maybe for this season.Yes, that's a good question. Liverpool should publicly condemn this player's behaviour, whether they want him or not. His behaviour is unprofessional and is damaging to the reputation of both the player and the club he is aiming for. It would be funny if he went to Liverpool and then went on strike when Real Madrid came calling
I think most Liverpool fans will suddenly find new facets to this behaviour.
