I initially thought that after Dortmund acquired Guirassy, I thought Dortmund would sell him for a high price in this season's transfer window.
Dortmund management of player sales has proven to be excellent, so why haven't they sold Guirassey? It's because the timing isn't right and there's no suitable replacement, furthermore I don't think his performances last season were enough to attract the attention of other wealthy club. Perhaps next season more people will be interested in Guirassey but that depends on his current form.
I have a feeling that if Dortmund retains some of their best players without selling them, the team will pull off a few surprises this season.
Most Dortmund fans would like to see that policy, but we know selling players is their main business.
