I gamble based on percentage of my total income and I keep it at single digit to avoid losing too much. I carefully measure how lucky I am in a day of gambling because this is how I know if to continue to gamble or stop for the day. If the day is my lucky day, I have to make good use of it but I will try to remain within my budget for the day and also not exceed the overall target for the week/month. I have noted that managing the funds is the most important aspect of gambling so maintaining a target is a top priority.
All that you have said makes sense to me, and one that I like the most is you saying that you make sure that you maintain a single digit amount of money when it comes to how much you spend on gambling based on your earnings, this is indeed a good way to maintain a disciplined and high level of money management in a person's gambling activities..

This is something I myself have been practicing for quite a long time now, and it has helped me greatly in the area of managing my money better and making sure that I do not spend more than what I can afford to lose on gambling or sports betting I've come to love so much, yeah, I love sports betting not in the way of getting addicted to it but in the way of simply having fun, most especially if the game I bet on is one that I am watching on TV live at that very moment.
Managing our money is very paramount or important when it comes to succeeding in life, as my people often make a parable in my language which when translated to English, simply means that "people don't become rich and wealthy by getting alot of money and then throwing it all away". I do not mean that gambling is throwing money away, but without proper management, it can be exactly that.
