So it looks like it will not be as competitive as other teams in the West. It's good that they take Dame back and for sure that Dame is happy as he might retire to the City that draft him and where he really become a good player. But to be able to bring this roster to at least in the playoff? It might be a tall order as others have said already, Dame might be in the stage that his body is deteriorating. Although there is some good names in the list, but again, the West is going to be a very competitive conference with everyone improving their line-up.
It is clear that Blazers are basically tanking at this stage of their era. There is no chance that they can do great, that team sucks and they can only tank with this team and they can only hope for some good picks.
I have no idea if they even own their pick, but I do hope that they do, because they are going to be close to bottom. They also need to realize, getting one good player isn't enough. Look at them before, they had Dame, who was a great player, and they even had CJ McCollum, who played amazing, and yet when you think about it, they didn't do well all that much. So they need to end up with more than that, they need a few stars, and they can do that if they tank a few seasons and get some good players from free agency.
