I initially thought that after Dortmund acquired Guirassy, I thought Dortmund would sell him for a high price in this season's transfer window. This made me wonder if Dortmund had a good plan this season, keeping him to achieve something. I have a feeling that if Dortmund retains some of their best players without selling them, the team will pull off a few surprises this season.
One reason Dortmund has not been exceptional after most seasons is in their practice of selling off their star players, because they make more money from that maybe it makes up for the trophies they have been unable to win, because I have not heard of them having financial struggles too often like I hear with other teams. If they keep Guirassy
this season for a reason, he my be sold next season except they keep having more good reasons to keep him.
Dortmund has been in the business of buying and selling of players to make profit for for a long time a team that is doing that has nothing to do with winning or trophies that's why you see their team finding it difficult to win trophies yet they don't get affected financially. They profit from the sells of players can equate to the amount they get in the trophies but it can't be compared to their ranking as a team in the league history.
Guirassy has not yet been sold because they may be planning to groom new set to players so that next season when he's sold the team will still have some good players I believe the team will be getting more profit if he keeps performing well next season.
