Liverpool won the last season, but I wouldn't say it was easy for the club. It contested as usual, and for the lapses of many clubs like Arsenal and Man City, it was able to lift the trophy with a good gap of 10 points away from the closest rilval, Arsenal. It actaully lost 2 matches, drew 2 and only won one in the last 5 matches of the seaon, to show that it wasn't easy.
This seaon, I don't see Liverpool easily lifting the cup, the likes of Man City will not be lagging behind the way it did in the last season. Man City slept for too long last season, which helped Liverpool to continue moving higher on the table. It will not be the same story again if Man City could give it a good fight from the beginning to the end.
