I don't see Manchester United as a candidate for the first places in English Premier League next season at all. When you see how well Liverpool and Chelsea are preparing themselves and how determined Manchester City to get back the title, I wonder if Manchester United could at least be close to them or get back to an European spot.
Newcastle United doesn't seem to be a candidate too, just like Manchester United. They have to recruit players if they want to advance, otherwise they will take the place of Manchester United in the ranking of the previous season.
I agree with your position on MU, with respect to Newcastle I don't know why, but I have faith in that team that they can do things well At the end of last season I really liked the football they showed, unfortunately they showed it too late , but I think the key in every season for teams is that they must take advantage from the start.
I'm so much happy that Premier League is back, now we can see all what was prepared during preseason by all managers to be displayed in main League, where every winning and losing count.
And this is just the beginning, there are many more interesting things to see Personally, I see that things are going well for the big teams Liverpool hasn't disappointed so far , and I hope they continue like this, even though they've lost some players, but they've pulled through. Well done Liverpool.
