It's because IMO that there are more players in the tournaments. But I have tried to get into some cash games but it seems not preferable to me. Although I am also open to play some cash games if ever I can. While this time, my preference is sticking to the tournaments because for me they're fun. And I'll get into some cash games if ever I start wanting to have some bucks trying to win them if ever I think that I've already passed and become a good tournament player.
Playing in tournaments and cash games actually has a different feel. In tournaments, we use chips, which can sometimes lead us to play recklessly and without making sound decisions because our mindset is that we're only using chips.In cash games, however, we use real money, which makes us more careful in our decisions because our minds naturally prioritize profit.
Although tournaments also offer profits, they usually depend on the size of our buy-in.
