The chants for Jota in the 20th minute were nice. Ekitike had a very impressive start for Liverpool. First goal in Community Shield and another one in his first league game. When Gakpo scored, he was left far too unmarked inside the box. Bournemouth countered very well though, scoring their first goal with just two passes. Then Semenyo went 70 meters with the ball to score his second goal. Just when Bournemouth seemed to be back in the game, Liverpool scored twice in the final minutes, so we can say they got away with this one. They might not be this lucky in every match.
Also, the racist chants towards Semenyo is unacceptable. The racist Liverpool fans should receive a serious punishment.
What a good way for Liverpool to start the season , reminding everyone that they are a defending champions. Ekitike having to score a goal and an assist in his EPL debut was actually a nice start for him but then, when Liverpool allowed Bournemouth to get an equaliser it almost made me felt like Liverpool was going to share points in the match but they were able to manage to resume their lead ending the match with a 2:4 victory.
Actually Antoine Semenyo acted matured by not responding to that racist fan, the fan physical condition was enough to use in returning a scathing remark but Semenyo was able to comport himself.
