Tournaments consumes so much times , after playing 2/3 hour if you can placed on top 4-5 you maybe can get 20/25$ worth of rewards. I play almost every tournament hosted on our forum. On the other hand cash Game is like, you don't like playing you can exit with your winning or lose , can play sometimes later. Or maybe you got a very good hands winning a big hands equal to you all chips or half chips can bring you Instant big W. Well tournament is fun if you're playing with friends or competing for a good amount of stack .
Tournaments are fun, even though they might take some of your time but they start getting more and more interesting if you start having good hands and win some chips on top of what you were allocated at the beginning, because if you can maintain the rhythm, you will start to feel that you can make it into the top 3 at least, but then you make a mistake and lose everything. This happened a lot with me when BSOP was going on; in a lot of satellite tournaments, I thought I was going to win this time because things were going well, but then I started betting against someone with a stronger hand, and lost all or a big portion of my balance.
About tournaments that are held on these forums, they are even more fun because you are basically playing against people you know, not personally but at least you have had conversations or discussions with them, and the best part is that the competition is very high in such tournaments because almost all players are very good at poker, or at least most of them are.
