That's why it's so important to determine the amount of money you are going to gamble with. You set that aside and that becomes your budget regardless of your results. If you win something with it, great. You did better than many other players. If you lose all of it, you stop because you spent all of it. Under no circumstances do you add more money to that budget trying to recover or minimize your losses. That's when you end up performing even worse than expected.
this is exactly what i do, if i'm lucky and win something, i always at least cash out my deposit to have fun another day. if i lose, i wrap it up right then and there for the day.
only if people would actually followed this advice, we would not have problematic gamblers.
but no no, some can't help themselves, they make another deposit to try to win something back or break even, and even if they recover what they lost, they get greedy, keep playing, lose it all again, make another deposit, repeat the same shit over and over expecting a different result until they fuck up thier lives gambling every last cent to thier name.
