I've heard of match fixing although i don't really believe in it cause I don't have a reliable source that would testify concerning it but I think what you've said is possible since some high profiled bettors can manipulate the odds against bettors for instance you'll see a small team winning against Big team that lots of bettors staked on them to win sometimes it makes me feel some high profiled person staked on them so it was manipulated for them to win.
It only happens in the minor leagues and it won't happen in the big leagues because the big leagues are very risky to commit such manipulation and the penalties will also be heavier.
But in the minor leagues everything can be manipulated according to the wishes of the big bettors and there have been several order matches that have been carried out
and some players in the minor leagues that are indeed used to manipulate the match.
