No it is highly unlikely that Inter can repeat what they did last year. It would already be an achievement if they could win an Italian title, let alone return to play in a Champions League final.
Last year? I assume you refer to the season 2023-2024, right?
If Inter Milan still can't return to their best form, it is surely difficult to win again the Serie A title. Napoli looks stronger under Conte's management. However, Inter Milan should have a chance to win again the title. Their squad is actually better than Napoli. Their main problem is just consistency.
Regarding reaching the final UCL, I think it will be more difficult than winning Serie A title. In UCL, we have too many strong teams, meanwhile Inter Milan isn't in their best form anymore.
Great credit is due to Simone Inzaghi who turned this team into a battleship, but he squeezed them too hard. And the result showed in the end
I don't think there was a problem with Simone Inzaghi's approach. He managed Inter Milan in a proper way. He was just unlucky that most Inter players were no longer in their best form. It is something usual in football, there should be a time that players are declining their performance. I think Simone Inzaghi deserved to get a more chance but Inter management prefers to stop contract with him.
