It's not slots will give higher chance to hit high multipliers compared to sports, but it makes possible.

I think people would be fine spinning $0.05 over and over even though they lost $1,000 in the end rather than someone who betting $1 on parlay with 1,000x odds in 1,000 bets. People might be fine when they make 10 bets, after they reach 50 bets, they're exhausted, after they reach 100 odds, they think it's wasting time.

It’s almost the same IMO, the difference is just the speed. In slots the results are instant, so even if you’re only betting $0.05 per spin, you can easily end up wagering $1 in just a few clicks.

With sports betting, especially parlays, a $1 bet might take until tomorrow (or even longer) before you know the result, especially if you stacked multiple legs. And if you’re aiming for something crazy like x2000 return, that’s already a ton of combinations that need to go your way.
