Sunderland is a Premier League team with a rich history, so they possess a strong mentality. Despite their recent promotion, they are worthy of caution. In their first week, they already demonstrated their quality by defeating West Ham 3-0.
I am sure the result of this match surprised all. No one imagined that sunderland would be able to win this match. Because West ham was a very strong team. And Sunderland is new to the Premier l eague. So the chances of them winning against West ham in the first match were low.
But we were all surprised by Sunderland's performance. The team secured a 3- 0 victory. The players were very confident. I could not watch the match live. But i saw the highlight of this match . Out of 10 shots of sunderland's player , 5 were on target. And the team was able to score 3 goals.
Sunderland's performance was a bit slow in the first half. On the other hand the team increased their attack speed in the second half. Although they could not score any goals in the first half, they were able to identify the weaknesses of West Ham's defense in the second half. If Sunderland can continue such tyep of performance, I will not be surprised if the team is in the top 10 of the table this season.
