By now I no longer believe that Lookman will go to Inter, if Atalanta wanted to sell him they would have already done so without much hesitation. A bit like it did with Retegui, form for Ademola Lookman things are a bit different! Atalanta would not want to sell him in Italy but only abroad so as not to reinforce direct competitors
Atalanta certainly doesn't want one of its key players leaving for a club that will compete in the same league, Serie A. Unfortunately, the player seems to actually want to go to Inter Milan. In fact, I've read in several reports that Lookman has actually asked the club for permission to move. However, it seems Atalanta really wants to keep this player. If Inter Milan still wants him, they must be willing to pay Atalanta's asking price.
The situation seems somewhat similar to when Napoli retained Osimhen. However, the difference is that Lookman and Atalanta still have a good relationship. Osimhen and Napoli's relationship was completely broken at that time. So, if Lookman doesn't make it to the transfer, I'm sure he will continue to perform well at Atalanta. However, if Lookman does leave, Atalanta will have a hard time finding a replacement.
