I believe this is our guy who wanted to play for Arsenal and the Gunners was happy to see him at the club and with what I saw today of this player I don't think I saw what half of what he did at Sporting CP, like he was desperate to do something but at the end things didn't go his way. I felt for him because he wasn't him self throughout the game and you'd agree with me that the Red Devils striker did better than Viktor Gyökeres in today's game even when his playing time wasn't much. If Viktor Gyökeres continue like he did, I don't see the Gunners getting close to getting the title like thee did last season. What do you think about his rating, is there still hope for this player?
In Gyokeres' first match with Arsenal, which they won, he still managed to complete 4/9 (44%) accurate passes, though he didn't attempt a single shot.
When compared to Benjamin Sesko, who came on as a substitute in the 65th minute, the Manchester United debutant received a rating of 6.3.
The title race is still long, and Gyokeres still has plenty of opportunities to adapt to Arsenal in the English Premier League, which is known to be tougher than the Portuguese League.
The league is still fresh and we still have plenty of games to go, haven't mentioned the Carabao Cup or FA Cup and the others ones, true but we should get it that Viktor Gyökere wasn't productive in that game against Man UTD, not only him even Saka was not in good form and these days I see him struggling with form. A player that was the best who made it difficult for opposition defenders is now feeling scared of taking on defenders one on one. This might be a sign that some of these Arsenal players can't play like they did last season which means bad news for the club Arsenal and again I'd love to ask what was Madueke doing in today's game? Nothing to say he did other than focusing on playing at the back instead of looking for a way to get something upfront, I hope Arteta knows what he's doing.
