Gyökeres had a truly disappointing start to the season with Arsenal. He wasn't effective at all against Manchester United and didn't play well for Arsenal at all. Gyokeres is a player that many expectations are expected from him and that makes it very observant to everyone when he performs less in any game. This may be his first season and first game in the Premier League which was suppose to be overlooked for him, but he’s blamed by many already that he’s a poor player that can not do well in the premier league. Gyokeres should be giving more time in my own opinion, because I feel he’ll do better with time and have to first understand the pattern of the game before we can rate him again. He will not have a poor stay in this club but he will continue to develop overtime.
So if they lose to a team like Manchester United's, I think they will definitely be embarrassed by that. Besides that, honestly I don't understand, why in this match Arsenal's really lost the matter of ball domination from Manchester United. Because if we look at the statistics Manchester United is able to dominate 60% of ball possession in this match. In addition, Manchester United were also able to shoot 22 shots at Arsenal's goal, fortunately none of these shots were able to become goals. Because it cannot be denied, that in this match if we talk about defense, I think the Arsenal defenders really deserve thumbs up. Because if for example in this match the Arsenal defenders play less well, I don't think Arsenal will get the full 3 points in this match.
