but I guess the team saw Discord has more features and better organized so that they see Discord is more helpful for support and also beyond that like announcements and discussions, interactions with community.
No, discord is really worst. We are seeing the aspect from "Support - Case" which means the user needed help. We are not counted for announcement stuff, discussion and other. Since "METAWIN" offering NFTs Asset & Token, they have 2 user bases.- People who are investing (mostly they will join the community) like NFT Holder or Token Holder
- People who are just gambling (they don't care about community) what they want is fast withdraw stuff, faster solved case, and bonus. That's all.
User no.2 is no needed a discord, and they don't want to join mostly. They mostly want to gamble.
Also Discord is heaven for scammer, so even they joined the correct discord server channel. Still customer can get potential getting scam not just in DM but also in the server (cause scammer can bypass the bots restricted), meanwhile with on-site support there is no way you can contacting with scammer or connect with scammer.
I also give you example, why discord is not suitable for redirecting regarding support issue. Here, I can bypass the bot restricted in discord:
Why I know these cause handling some project too and needed some special command in my discord to resrict all of these even with the command sometimes these scammer still bypass it. Bot link restricted or discord invite by link is really not usefull as well or not working with these special character stuff.
That's why I also think that discord is not a venue for people to seek for help since once you post on a community chat that you need an assistance coming from their representatives or support. The impersonators would came trying to act as support then fool people. This is dangerous especially for those who are not aware about the situation since they might fall from scammers.
That's why they need to remind always their community to be more careful dealing with impersonators and other entities that would try to scam them.
But since Metawin is doing that for long time and they organize everything in their discord I guess they are fine with that, also so far we didn't saw anyone there posting that they are been scammed by impersonators.
