Sometimes I try this pattern myself, always paying attention to each roll before finally buying the bonus... but in the end, I fail more often than I win, especially since I don't really believe that I can predict when the lightning will strike.

What I often do in slot games is try spinning several times after breaking the pattern, then buy spins. The results are still uncertain, but this gives me confidence in slot games, even though winning is still random.
Believing in certain patterns in slot games is understandable - but it's not an easy way to win big. The algorithms used are difficult for the average human brain to crack - especially when playing without any analysis. The randomness of the patterns makes it difficult for many players to guess the correct pattern - so it's understandable why slots are considered a game of luck. I don't like guessing patterns in slot games - I mean it's just a fun game without requiring much in-depth analysis to notice specific patterns in order to win.
