We expected psg to win by a big margin against Nantes. But PSG did not manage to score any single goals in the first half. Although their players made several strong attacks, PSG failed to break Nantes' defense in the first half. We did not see any strong attacks from Nantes. Their target is to play defensively and draw the match goalless. However, I am sure that Luis Enrique will definitely change his match strategy in the second half. PSG will increase their attack speed. PSG players will try their best to secure 3 points from the first match of the season.
And they succeeded in securing the three points and that's all that matters. The season is just starting and many players are still in their best form that haven't gotten tired from playing many matches. We shouldn't be expecting there to be too much goals when two teams play against eachother. What's most important for the start of the season is getting all points and that's what PSG has done. The goal came in the 67th minute and it was scored by Vitinha. It was only a matter of time before PSG scored because they played so well and was dominating the game. PSG has started the season well by winning this game and we should be expecting them to win more games as always.
