I have never believed that after someone budgets money for gambling and they exhausted it they would still go ahead to further make deposit to their account in order to go chased what they had already lost before. To me that is stupidity because I didn't see any season of going further to go such deposit to chased what they had lost, sincerely they are digging more holes for themselves because at that point they aren't with their right mindset due to the subsequent loses and it creates more avenue to lose even more than expected to win.
Mate that's stupidity agree with you on this statement but it happens in real life, to be honest with you, many gamblers are suffering in the hands of uncontrollable gambling, it has not been easy with them although they are be blamed for that because it was just a habit they formed or will I say cultivated and it has surpass their individual safe control limit, some has tried their best to stick to their budget but they keep failing because they failed to realize that by gone is by gone in gambling, whatever that's lost is not guaranteed to be gotten back and it will be better to concentrate on things that are to come than to rope oneself by cultivating the habit of going for more all in the name of winning back these lost amount I think that's crazy.
A friend of mine almost crash his business because of trying to win back lost amount, he was addicted in playing aviation games and he was using a huge amount of money to do this according to him when he first told me that he has lost huge amount gambling i was how desperate he was to win back lost amount i advise him quite and delete the App from his phone he refused that he can't just let his money go on the process of trying to win back lost amount he keep losing, i wish gamblers do learn from other gamblers stories and limit their high rate of gambling, maybe they want to be rich over night.
I most really your friends experience really highlights the risk of chasing losses in gambling, i think trying to win back lost amount can lead to a vicious cycle of further losses and financial difficulties its really with that your advise, it not really great that you advisable him to stop and delete the app but ultimately still thier decisions is to seek help and change behaviour lies with the individual. Its essential for gamblers to recognize the risk and set limits to avoid financial difficulties, maybe your friends experience can serve as a cautionary tales for others.
