Forums may be going out of fashion for advertisers. Let's hope not, and the fact that new campaigns are coming out seems to indicate that this is not the case. But many don't last more than a few months. Who knows what the future holds in this regard.
It’s sad to see such long running campaigns getting paused. Well, forum still is a great place for advertising, specially casinos. However, it’s almost the same users we are advertising for and at some point, after running a long time, you will barely get a result. I got the same experience with bc.game recently. Despite running a big budget campaign, the output was very bad.
This created a doubt/curiosity in me.
Are you only looking at campaign performance directly, i.e., customers coming directly from the forum? Or are you looking at the SEO performance the forum can bring to the project?
They're two different things. If you only look at direct performance, you'll end up limiting yourself to the same users, even though the forum has thousands. Another is to look at the impact that the link/site shared on Bitcointalk has on SEO and search engines, which will improve search performance and more.
