When a contest offers a payment in Bitcoin, there's no exchange rate either: it's just (a set amount in) Bitcoin

Our budget is currently estimated in the traditional way, which makes it easier for us to track expenses since we’re using our own funds.
That said, we’ll keep your suggestion in mind. I believe it should be acceptable if we set prices in USD equivalents while making payouts in BTC.
BTW, I noticed from your post that you’re interested in joining the Beta.
