You are all correct about France. Indeed, they have a good team, but they are missing more than enough of their PF/ Center line. Rudi Gobert, Moustapha Fall, Mathias Lessort, Vincent Poirier, and, of course, Wemby. So, it's pretty obvious that they have smaller chances than teams that are covered in this line and IMO it will be very difficult to get a medal in this tournament.
Spain also has problems with injuries, with more than 5 players, with the latest addition to their list being Alberto Abalde. And I guess that's the main reason Giannis didn't play in any friendly games so far. Greece needs him healthy if they want to be among the medalists.
Yeah until yesterday I wasn't even aware of France's front court problems with all the injuries. Just read it in German news finally about all the players they are missing and their overall height is alarmingly low.

They still have quality in their team of course but missing Wemby and Gobert alone is a HUGE blow, epecially to your defense since these 2 are both all NBA defensive players.
Anyway, if they play well as a team they still have a chance but looking at the missing players now France is the clear cut number one for this tournament with no team coming even close.
