Was the button unclickable? Have you ticked "Enable rbf" when sending the transaction?
In the transaction's details (R-Click->Show Details) what does the transaction input's Sequence's value?

Anyways, IMO bumping isn't necessary.
Because even sub 1sat/vB transaction are being mined right now, yours should be fine unless you set it at the lowest possible fee that some miners accept.
