I knew Girona was poor, last season was a display far away from the previous. But letting Rayo go rampaging in the first half spells a Girona that I somehow even managed to overestimate. And no, even before the red card, the stats showed 11 shots from Rayo and 0 from Girona. And not a single one of us foresaw this either, a draw was the worst a handful of us predicted. I don't really know why I backed Girona in this game. It looks that they will have to fight to avoid relegation this season. While Rayo looks great, I see them fighting for spots in Europe again.
