Chelsea could perform well in the Champions League this year. They won the Conference League last year and defeated Paris Saint-Germain in the summer tournament to win the title. There's serious expectation from them for next year's competition in both the English Premier League and the Champions League. They haven't won their first match in the Premier League. I'm really curious to see how they'll do in the Champions League. I expect them to advance at least one round.
It is obvious that Chelsea has all it takes to perform extraordinarily well in the champions league this season considering their new status as the reigning FIFA CWC champions and also the calibre of young players in the squad, more also they have a very good record in this competition winning it twice in several attempts so I think they would do well especially after missing out of the competition for sometime.
I was disappointed at Chelsea this last weekend because of there inability to win crystal palace, I know crystal palace can be a pain in the ass for big teams but with the form Chelsea has and the way I was analysing the game I never believed Chelsea will draw the game talk more of not scoring a goal, it was really unexpected of Chelsea. But It is football anything is possible so I was not really surprised because someone already told me before then that he played the game draw and I regretted why I didn't followed him and play the draw. This is just the beginning of the season so there are more games to be played and I believed Chelsea will do well this season not a fan though but I like how they play.
The season just started, sometimes small clubs usually perform well against big club to avoid losing point. Chelsea do well is just that they didn't have much opportunity to break Crystal Palace defence. Since Chelsea didn't lose the game they share the points that Is not a bad game for them because crystal palace didn't perform weak they came to win the match against Chelsea. Am sure next match Chelsea will try there best to achieve the three point. No one believes that Chelsea will defeat PSG in the CWC because of the form that PSG are in currently, but Chelsea surprise everyone and achieve the title from them.
Chelsea have every players that will make them perform this season in the Champions League, and they will do Everton possible to get the opportunity to win the trophy this time around. Let wait the Champions League to take place and see what they will perform because I get the believe that Chelsea will be among the best club in the ucl this season. since they have key players in the club currently and nothing will make them perform weak except the coach do wrong information that can spoil everything in the pitch.
